Genesis

The castle, the top of these eight centuries, is drawn up still nowadays capped of its roof. Unfortunately the ruin threatens. It is to try to save the building that association draws the alarm bell since 2001 and tries to sensitize the community in order to allow first aid…

In 2005, the historical owners decide to separate from their good, whose increasingly critical state requires major interventions. Association will not have then the capacities to assume such financial expenses, and they is certain of its members who gather and are invested personally.

The total objective

The stakes, the transmission of this heritage pushes us to initiate a dynamics, federating religious organizations and local partners around a joint project: restoration and the durable valorization of this place of exception.

To create a place of life open to the public; new vocation of this secular heritage; guarantee its transmission with the future generations…

To arrive to this reality, from the poles of activities will structure the new vocation of the castle:
   - Restoration and valorization of the site (Masonries and Park, farm)
   - Cultural Mission (expos, spectacles, residences of artists)
   - Social Mission (building sites schools, classes of discovered)
   - Tourist Reception (visit of the site, Rooms of hosts, counts hosts, promotion produced of the soil)

Work

Important work is undertaken to save the building, in particular by work of crystallization.

This long term job can be initiated only by the setting out of complete water of the roofs and the consolidation of the frames. In parallel, of work of masonry are undertaken to protect the most critical parts.

The enclosure even of the castle concentrates the most complex phases of the restoration. We do not forget nevertheless to carry our efforts on the rehabilitation of the dependences but also of the park as a whole.
